Margie Slusher

Margie Goins Slusher, 85 of Beverly, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her home. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 30, 1936, a daughter of the late Curt and Lillie Depew Goins. Margie had been a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ricky Allen Slusher and Eddie Bruce Slusher; brothers, Earl Goins, Clayton Goins, Ralph Goins, and Raymond Goins; and sisters, Loretta Patrick, Deloris Smith, and Faye Bowling. Margie is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and Debbie Slusher; grandchildren, Melissa Caldwell, Wendy Grills, Sarah Slusher, Tara Hamlin, Travis Slusher, and Janie Sizemore; 16 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; special sister-in-law, Freda Slusher; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Brock presiding. Burial will follow at the Slusher Cemetery in Beverly. Pallbearers will be Chandler Caldwell, Travis Slusher, Conner Slusher, Corey Napier, Doug Grills, and Rodney Caldwell. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Slusher Family.
