Margie Rae Brock

Margie Rae Brock, 80 of Kettle Island, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at her home. She was born in Harlan County on February 1, 1944, a daughter of the late Ted Sr. and Rena Saylor Blevins. Margie was a devoted Christian Mom who loved her church family and her faith. She had been a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death

by her husband, Jim L. Brock; brother, Arthur Blevins, Sr.; and sisters, Bertha Rosetta Caldwell and Nettie Sue Terrell.

Margie is survived by her children, Rena Saylor, Vernon and Tina Brock, Palmer B. Mullins, and James L. Brock; grandchildren, Nathan G. Saylor, Angelina Hope Saylor (Gracie Edwards), Nicholas Brock and Olivia and Dakota Schemanski; brothers, James Edward Blevins, Ted Blevins, Jr., and Calvin Ray Blevins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

At the request of Margie, private services will be held in her honor.
