Margie Rose Dovie Partin

Margie Rose Dovie Coots Partin, 86, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2020 surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Dorton Branch on August 11, 1933, a daughter of the late Andrew and Ollie Williams Coots. She was a member of Tazewell Church of God and had been a prayer warrior. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Partin, daughters, Brenda, Patricia and Peggy; sisters, Ethel and Ruth; brothers, Denver, Elbert, Arnold and Richard. Survivors include her children, Ronnie Partin, George Partin, Oakley and Pamela Partin and Jacqueline Partin Catron; grandchildren, Brant, Victoria, Michael, Candi, Crystal, Sherry, Rose, Shawnna and Lantz and a host of great grandchildren, sister, Helen Roark and a host of other family and friends. Services will be on Sunday, March 8, at 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Pastor Edward Noonchester. Music will be by the church family. Burial will be in the Hickory Flat Cemetery, Dorton Branch, Pineville, KY. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 12 until 1:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Partin Family.
