MARGIE YOUNG HENRY

Margie Sallie Young Henry was born March 17, 1936 to Matt and Ina Lee Clement Young, passed away October 27 after a long illness. She was a founding member of Young's Chapel Baptist Church where she served as church clerk and piano player for many years. She was co-owner of Youngstown Grocery and a former member of the Tazewell Council. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Henry, Sr., daughter Joy Elaine Henry, parents James Matt & Ina Lee Young, brothers, Paul Young, Matt Young, Jr., and Henry Young; sisters, Bonnie Lucille Young and Mattie Lee Young. She is survived by her sons, James Madison Henry and Douglas Andrew Henry; granddaughters Kaitlynn Margery Elaine Henry, and Holly Danielle Collins; great grandson, Robbie Dale Buchannan ; brother, Douglas M. Young; sister, Glenda Sue Young; sisters-in-law, Hattie Mae Young and Joyce Young; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday night, October 29 from 5-8 P.M. at Young's Chapel Baptist Church in Tazewell. Funeral services 2:00 PM Sunday, October 30 at the church. Body will lie in state 1 hour before service. Burial in Irish Cemetery. Preachers are Junior Snelson and Tom Louthan. Singers are Barbara Hatfield and David Painter.
