Margarete Vettese

Margaret Vettese, 87 of Dewitt, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the Middlesboro ARH Hospital. She was born in Appalachia, Virginia on November 1, 1921 a daughter of the late Thomas and Martha Messer Bays. She believed in the Pentecostal faith and had worked as a shipping and receiving clerk for Rhynne China Company. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo Vettese, children, Oples Messer and Margaret Ellen Messer and a sister, Gloria Broughton. Survivors include her children, Forrester Norman Messer, Angelo Anthony Vettese, Vincenzo Vettese, Mary Anna Vettese and Teresa Victoria Baker; eleven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
