Margaret Jane Rains Haynes was born July 9, 1926 and went to be with her Heavenly family on December 20, 2011. Her parents were Marshall and Ollie Yoakum Rains. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Joe Haynes. Margaret is also preceded in death by her daughters: Betty Leach, Brenda Ausmus, and Sharon Bolinger.

Margaret was a faithful Christian, and member of Shipley Grove Church of God Mountain Assembly, for over half of her life. She sang her praises to the Lord, and enjoyed sharing with others her love for Jesus Christ. Margaret spoke of her passing years ago, and told her loved ones not to mourn her, but to rejoice and celebrate her new life. Her passing is not one that should be looked upon as sadness, but as a victory in Jesus. Margaret has a new home and will suffer no more.

Motherhood for Margaret, was a joy in life that she always spoke of. She adored her children and devoted herself to them. Margaret is survived by her son Jim Haynes, Cumberland Gap, TN; daughters: Pat (& Randy) Shawback, Washburn, IL, Connie (& Kelly) Cochran, Middlesboro, TN, Debbie Shoffner, Speedwell, TN and adopted granddaughter, Christie (& Mitchell) Irvin, Speedwell, TN, special sons-in-law, Sam Shoffner & Floyd Leach. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. Friday with Rev. Bill Gaylor officiating.

Graveside services 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 24, 2011, at Pine Grove - Hill Cemetery.
