Audra Marcille Williams Jenkins, 92 of Pineville, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Pineville Community Health Center. She was born in Cutshin Creek on November 14, 1933, a daughter of the late Hobert and Pauline Cornett Williams. Marcille was a believer in the Christian Faith and was a member of the Artemus Christian Church. She was a local artist and did the artwork on the original Mountain Laurel Cookbook. Marcille worked for many years with the Mountain Laurel Festival, painting the sidewalks, and gathering the flowers for the bouquets, crowns, and décor for the festival. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Marcille had been a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Edward Harold “Bud” Jenkins; sisters, Barbara Williams and Glenna Johnson; and brothers, Glenn Williams and Jerry Lynn Williams.
Marcille is survived by her daughter, Kathleen York and husband, Ruben; sons, Edward R. Jenkins and wife, Mary, and William K. Jenkins and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Jason York and wife, Virgie, Kelley Mills and husband, Jimmie, Justin York, Benjamin Edward Jenkins and wife, Katheryn, Kason Jenkins and wife, Andrea, Abigail Jenkins, Luke Hodges and wife, Hayleigh, and Olivia Hodges; great-grandchildren, Joshua Mills, Emily Ann Mills, Nathaniel York, Jaylee York, Jace Reed York, and Lenora Jenkins; brother, Chuck Williams and wife, Louise; special friends, Matthew and Melinda Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Pineville Community Health Center and Dr. Nick Fugate for their care, support, and compassion during this time.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville with Rev. Doug Martin, Rev. Sam Foutch, and Rev. Matthew Martin presiding. Burial will follow at the Burch Alford Cemetery in Artemus. Pallbearers will be Jason York, Justin York, Ben Jenkins, Kason Jenkins, Joshua Mills, and Jimmie Mills. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel York, Jace Reed York, Chad Ferguson, and Brian Nelson.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Jenkins Family.
