Mallon "Buck" Ausmus

Our dear loved one, Mallon “Buck” Ausmus, age 81, of Speedwell, TN was born May 16, 1941, and passed away March 1, 2023 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children; Johnnie Terry Ausmus, parents; Frank “Sleepy” and Dallas Hopper Braden Ausmus, sons; Clyde and Michael Ausmus, sister and brother-in-law; Ina D. Ausmus Yoakum and husband Ray W. Yoakum, half-brother; Emerson Braden, half-sister; Clydia Faye Braden Hopper.

He is survived by his son; James Beelie Ausmus, daughter; Rebecca Ausmus, brother; Nolan “Tut” Ausmus. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 5PM until 7PM with funeral services to follow at 7PM in the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel with Rev. Ricky Braden officiating. Music will be provivded by Lisa Short and Kathy Spurlock.

Graveside services will be conducted 11AM Monday, March 6, 2023 in the Hunter Cemetery on Davis Creek Road, Speedwell, TN.
