Mae Philpot

Lucy Mae Philpot, 78, of Kettle Island, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2009 at her home. Born November 29, 1930, in Bell Co, KY, she was the daughter of the late Gillis and Lydia Crank. Lucy was a member of the Ernie Asher Holiness Church and she had been saved for 42 years. Lucy was a homemaker, mother and a faithful wife to the late Conley R. Philpot for 45 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Conley R. Philpot, brothers, Bill, Jim and Matt Crank, sister, Francis Wesler, great-granddaughter, Brittany Philpot, mother and father-in-law, Robert and Vestina Philpot. Survivors include her eight children, Larry Dean Philpot of Lavonia, Ga, David Richard Philpot of Waddy, KY, Diane Ward of Cincinnati, OH, Barbara Ebbers of Cincinnati, OH, Robert Philpot of St. Creek, KY, Linda Ferrell of Cincinnati, OH, Rickey Philpot of Middlesboro, KY and Teresa Philpot of Kettle Island, KY; thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, sisters, Ealine Crank, Lucinda Roberts, Dorothy Mills and Delores Upchurch, special friends, Lucy?s church family and special caregiver, Wanda Brock. .
