Mable Jordan Laws, 91 of Barbourville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Barbourville ARH. she was born on June 15, 1935, the daughter of the late Jeff and Nancy Jordan of Artemus, Kentucky. Mable was a member of the Pineville Church of God of Prophecy.
Mable was a loving, kind, and giving person who loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was an avid bible reader. She enjoyed her flowers, feeding and watching the birds, reading, and working crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Laws; ten brothers, Woodson Jordan, Walter (W.O) Jordan, Robert (R.J.) Jordan, Vick Jordan, Thomas (T.J.) Jordan, Bill Jordan, Dale Jordan, Hubert Jordan, Chester Jordan, and Dewey Jordan; one sister, Helen (Alex) Lakatos; daughter-in-law, Barbie Laws; and great-grandson, Levi Laws.
Mable is survived by her seven children, Dennis (Dorothy) Laws, Janice Laws, Douglas Laws, Joe and Janice Elizbeth Laws, Russell (Lynn) Laws, Juanita (David) Philpot, and Dinah (Eddie) McGeorge; eight grandsons, Brandon (Miranda) Laws, Eric (Ashley) Laws, Aaron Laws, Jacob (Bethany) Laws, Andrew Laws, Benjamin Laws, Justin (Casey) Laws, and Shane (Selena) Laws; three granddaughters, Tiffany (Andrew) Abner, Tracy (Jessie) Adkins, and Kendra (Travis) Johnson; six great-grandson, Elijah, Lucas, Kayden, Brantlee, Landon, and Aiden; eleven great-granddaughters, Gabriella, Rebekah, Olivia, Madison, Emersyn, Chloe (Ryan), Delilah, Elizabeth, Bailey Jo, Eden, and Adyson; one great-great-grandson, Griffin; four sisters-in-law, Loretta Laws, Barbara Jean Laws, Mildred Laws, and Audrey Jordan; special friends, Lynn Minton and Kathy Adkins; and a host of friends and relatives.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Arnett & Steele funeral Home with Reverend Allen Lord, Brother Eric Laws, and Brother Brandon Laws presiding, Burial will follow at the Farley Cemetery at Himyar. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Wilmoth and Jeff Wilmoth.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Laws Family.
