Mabel Napier Haynes Warren Cox, 87, of Speedwell, TN, formerly of Bell County passed away on Wednesday April 12, 2017 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, TN. She was born in Buffalo, KY on August 29, 1929 a daughter of the late Willie Garfield and Cordie Miller Napier. Mabel believed in the Holiness Faith and had been a cook for the Bell County School System for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by husbands, Nealey Warren and James 'Jim' Cox; son, Albert Leonard Haynes; step-children, James Warren and Harold Warren; grandchildren, Cindy Jarvis, Jason Helton and Jamie Haynes; brothers and sisters, Daniel Napier, Evelyn Gambrel, Kitty Anderson, Paul Napier and Ralph Napier. Survivors include her children, James Franklin Haynes and wife, Peggy, Carolyn Helton, husband, Jimmy, Rosemary Thompson, husband, Leonard; daughter-in-law, Betty Haynes; step-children, Junior Warren, Patricia Goins and Linda Duncan; twenty-three grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry Wayne Napier, special nephew, Tommy Gambrel, Jr.; special caregivers, Danny and Chris and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe and Mr. David Gambrel. Music will be by Geneva and Arnold Griffey, Marcy William and Curt Asher. Burial will follow in the Little Creek Cemetery in Arjay. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Mabel Cox.
