Ludinia Brock

Ludinia Saylor Brock, 82, of Field, KY went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Baptist Health, Corbin surrounded by her family. She was born in Saylor Hollow on December 19, 1935 a daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Saylor) Saylor. She was a member of Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was a pillar of the Crockett Church and a great singer. She was a dedicated mother to her children and a good Christian woman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carter Brock; sisters, Lucy Baker, Vernie Collins and Odie Brock; brothers, Edmund, Earl, Floyd and Arnold Saylor. Survivors include her children, Larry and Vondetta Brock, Fields, Trina and Anthony Saylor, Dover, TN, Dorisal Saylor and Adam McCreary, Arjay, Vickie Lynn Caldwell, Straight Creek and Cody Lynn and Brook Caldwell, whom she raised as a son; grandchildren, Stefen, Felicia, Rodney, Micky, Kayla, Rocky, Angela and Alexis; great-grandchildren, Riley, Dustin, Kinslee, Savannah, Gabriel, Angela, Kenny, Johnathan, Dillion, Quincy, Quinton, McKenzie and Madison; great-great-grandson, Easton Carter; sister, Gearldine and Sonny Caldwell; special friends, Rad and Louise Brock and Anna Jean Roop; special friend and caretaker, Brenda Swain and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff at Blue Grass Navigator and Baptist Health Corbin for the compassionate care. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church at Fields, KY with requested ministers, Rev.Ronnie Hoskins, Rev Richard Asher, Rev. Jordan Saylor, Rev. Harold Collins and Rev. Gary Grubbs. Music will be by the church singers. Most of all Ludinia wanted the will of the Lord for her services. Burial will be in the Saylor Cemetery at Fields, KY. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Cody, Stefen, Rodney, Micky, Steve, Ryan, Anthony and Rocky. The family will receive friends on Monday after 6:00 PM and all-day Tuesday until the funeral hour on Wednesday at the Saylor Pentecostal Holiness Church at Fields, KY.
