Louis 'Doc' Daniel, age 92, of Harrogate, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at his home. He was born March 7, 1918. He was of the Baptist faith and a lifetime member of Red Hill Chapel Baptist Church. He was a proud Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, Phillip and Ida Daniel; brothers, Arthur, Charlie and Floyd Daniel; sisters, Rachel and Florence Daniel, Laura Callahan and Ruth Long.

He is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 55 years, Delores Lockhart Daniel; son, Mark Daniel of Harrogate, TN; daughters, Joan (Tom) England of Powder Springs, GA. And Elizabeth Yvonne Lambert of Elizabethtown, KY; 1 granddaughter, Amy Mcghee; 1 grandson, Eric England and 1 great granddaughter, Mollie Mcghee, all of Powder Springs, GA, also, surviving, sister, Beatrice Fleenor of Elizabethton, TN; brothers, Carlie Daniel of Sevierville, TN and Fred Daniel of Sunbright, TN, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends, Friday, January 14, from 5-8 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Gilbert and Rev. Robert Charles Long officiating. Songs by Shelby Long, David and Wilma Hensley. Burial in the Red Hill Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers: Eric England, Lehman Callahan, C.F.
