Loretta Gibson

Loretta Gibson age 74 of Speedwell, Tn. Departed her loving family in the wee hours on Sunday August 8, 2021. Loretta was born to Clyde and Ella Mae Brown on March 26, 1947.  Loretta professed her Christian faith at an early age and spent her whole life sharing her faith with others through testimony and worshiping the Lord through song, singing with her loving family at many churches and events throughout the area.

She was preceded in death by parents Clyde and Ella Mae Brown, her Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Jesse and Elon Gibson, brothers-in-law William Calvin Gibson, Dewey Wayne Gibson, and Michael Gibson, sister-in-law Mary Sue Hatmaker.

Loretta is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-six years Joe Gibson also of Speedwell. With faithful and loving devotion to the Lord and each other they raised and is also survived by her four children.

Mother to three daughters and one son.

NANA to four Great grandchildren:

Jason Kayne Yeary, Trinity Noel Yeary Brown, Braydon James Miracle(Yeary) and Levi Ryan Hall.

She is also survived by her four brothers Claude “Peanut” Brown, George Brown (Merry), Johnny Brown, William Dennis Brown (Rhonda) and one dearest and loving sister Betty Louise Jones (Dean).  She is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6PM until 8PM at the Arnett & Steele Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted 10AM Friday, August 13, 2021 in the Valley Chapel with Rev. John Brown officiating. Music will be provided by her children. Burial will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery & Memorial Gardens.
