Lola Wilson, 77, of Verona, KY, formerly of Bell County, passed peacefully at home Sunday, July 14th after a long battle with COPD. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Henry and Sherman Turnbill, sisters Juanita Turnbill and Ruby Stewart as well as beloved mother-in-law, Mildred Wilson. Lola is survived by her husband Jim of Gallatin County; son, Jim of Pineville; sister, Geneva Alford and brother Jack Turnbill, both of Michigan, sisters Jean Ingram of Corbin, KY and Cora Rose of London, KY as well as her twin sister Lela Helton of Flat Lick, KY; as well as hosts of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
