Lois Jean Wilder, 76 of Miracle, passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at the Middlesboro ARH in Middlesboro. She was born in Manchester on February 14, 1945, a daughter of the late Tommy and Nannie Hoskins Goins. Lois was a member of the Church of God and had been a Cashier at the A&P. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Junior Goins, Clyde Goins, Loretta and Billy Collins, Betty Surface; and brother-in-law, James Lewis. Lois is survived by her husband of 57 years, Nelson Wilder; children, Eric and Rita Wilder, Alex and Darlene Wilder, and Samantha Wilder and Ralph Nichols; grandchildren, Devereux Wilder and Dillion Nichols; siblings, Pearl and Pam Goins, Marie Lewis, Charlene and Ted Lyons, Lorene and Forester Johnston, and Nora and Tom Evans; sisters-in-law, Effie Goins and Bonnie Goins; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Friday, September 3, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. David Gibbons and Rev. James Wilder presiding. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday at the Cubbage Cemetery in Miracle Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Wilder Family.
