Lois Robbins Hurst

Lois Robbins Hurst, 76 of Colmar passed away Saturday December 7, 2019 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington KY. She was born at home in Middlesboro, KY on March the 13th 1943 a daughter of the late Mary Zella Wilder Robbins and the late Ward Robbins. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Mamaw. She was a devout Christian and she enjoyed working in the Bell County school system for several years. She loved cooking, her Bible and her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Eugene Hurst, and her sister Imogene Robbins. Survivors include her children, Tim Hurst of Colmar, Eric and Tammy Hurst of Colmar and Daughter-in-law Sherry and George Simpson of Middlesboro; 3 Grandchildren, Jessica (Kissey) and Bj Bracey, Jennifer Hurst, and Caleb Hurst; 4 great-grandchildren, Connor Hurst, Nevaeh Partin , Amelia Frye and Bryar Bracey; brothers and sisters, Ilene Hurst, Freddie Robbins, Kathleen Moore, Velma Hoskins, Bobby Robbins and Judy Minor; special friends, Brenda Robbins, Kim Roberts, Shelby Hoskins and Brian Robbins along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 AM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Rev. Don Messer officiating. Music by Brian Robbins. Burial will follow at Green Hills memorial Gardens in Middlesboro KY. Pallbearers will be Bj Bracey, Caleb Hurst, Josh Knuckles, Terry Quillen, Ken Hoskins and Wayne Miracle. Honorary Pall Bearers, General Robbins, Shelby Hoskins, Willie Muncy and George Simpson.
