Lloyd Virgil Saylor

November 12, 1958 — April 6, 2023

Lloyd Virgil “LV” Saylor, 64 of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital after a tragic accident. Lloyd was born in Red Bird, Kentucky on November 12, 1958, a son of the late Virgil Saylor and Ollie Mae Saylor Caldwell. Lloyd had a free-spirited nature that took him on many wild adventures wherever he went.


In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepfather, Corbett Caldwell; sisters, Audrey Saylor, Henrietta Saylor Brown, Mary Francis Saylor Taylor; son, Jeffery Alan Saylor; grandson, Jacob Scott Saylor; and many other family and friends.


Those left behind are his sisters, Amanda Caldwell of Bledsoe, Kentucky, Catherine and David Nolan of London, Kentucky, and Barbara Mills of Piqua, Ohio; grandson, Marshall Saylor of Leonidas, Michigan; granddaughter, Madysyn Saylor of Melrose, Minnesota; and a host of other relatives and friends.


A small informal graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Salt Trace Cemetery in Bledsoe, Kentucky with Pastor Lawrence “Larry” Toner presiding.
