Lindsey Nicole Southern

Lindsey Nicole Southern, 34 of Middlesboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Pineville on July 10, 1989, a daughter of David “Sarg” and Teressa Venable Southern. Lindsey had a good loving heart, to know her was to love her. She was a great mother to her children and was loved by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Lindsey was a member of the Northside Baptist Church and had been a manager of a restaurant.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Robert E. and Louise J. Venable; paternal grandparents, Jim and Billie Southern; the father of her children, Blake Chittum; and uncle, Steve “Richman” Agee.

Lindsey is survived by her parents, David and Teressa Southern; children, Blakleigh Chittum and Easton Chittum; brother, Adam Southern and wife, Chelsea; niece Paisley Southern; nephew, Charlie Southern; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at the Northside Baptist Church in Middlesboro with Rev. Astor Simpson presiding. Music will be provided by Star Phelps.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Northside Baptist Church.
