Linda Jane Janie Stewart

Linda Jane "Janie" Wilson Stewart, 57, of Kettle Island, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Barbourville Health and Rehab Center. She was born in Pineville on October 16, 1960 a daughter of the late Carter and Joyce Faye Elliott Wilson. Janie was a member of the Straight Creek Trinity Tabernacle and had worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at the Right Fork School Center for many years. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Matthew and Carrie Smith; grandchildren, Carter Thomas Smith and Emma Faith Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Leigh Ann Wilson; nephew, Kyle Wilson; niece, Lauren Hoskins and a host of other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bobby Grubbs and Rev. Don Messer. Music will be by Faye Messer and Mark Mahurin. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro. Pallbearers will be Kyle Wilson, Ben Lancaster, Chad Cannady, Jason Taylor, Michael Lawson and Boyd Goodin. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the family of Janie Stewart.
