Linda Smith

Linda Smith, 69, of Arjay, Kentucky, went home to be with our Lord, on November 17, 2024, at her home with her loving family. Linda was born on September 17, 1955, in Pineville, Kentucky to the late Tim Lewis of Simms Fork, Kentucky and Joyce Lewis of Kettle Island, Kentucky. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, and great friend to many. She worked in the postal service and home interiors over the years. She was a member of the Elks Foundation and Legion where she volunteered and cooked for veterans.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Husband Leonard Jr. Smith, sisters Brenda Carol Lawson, Bessie Marie Carnes, and brothers Terry Lewis, and David Mark Lewis.

Survivors include Ann F. Lawson (Scott), Millie Jane Smith, Stepson Leonard Charles Smith(Jessica),Brothers Leon Lewis, Tim Jr. Lewis (Sheila), Bryan Lewis (Melissa), Eddie Lewis. Grandchildren Ashley R. Lawson, Amber M. Lawson, Alexus M. Lawson, and Justin Brandenburg, Mary Spencer, Tyler, Sam. Special Friends Tina M. Burnett, Haroldene Gambrel, and Denise Knuckles, Betty Lou Smith, Romonia Martinez.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, Kentucky, with Rev. Jared Smith officiating. Music will be provided by Chris Rose, Jimmy Rose, and Autumn Hoskins. Burial will follow at the Brummett Cemetery at Simms Fork. Honorary pallbearers include Korrey Morgan, Hunter Lawson, Shawn Lawson, Dustin Dixon, DJ Lawson, and Justin Blake Brandenburg, Tim Lewis Jr.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM, at the Arnett and Steele Funeral Home in Pineville, Kentucky.
