Linda Carol Overbay

Linda Carol Overbay, 72 of Middlesboro passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Saint Joseph-London Hospital. She was born in Fonde, Kentucky on April 1, 1948, and was a daughter of the late Siler and Nancy Helen Hatfield Lovett. Linda was a member of the Dunlap Baptist Church and had been a seamstress at M. Fine and Sons for 25 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Overbay, and siblings, Barbara Bazemore and Ronnie Lovett. Survivors include her special daughters that she raised, Whitney Cole and Alexis Cole; special granddaughter, Mila Cole; Niece, Tracy Martin; great-great nieces and nephew, Emily Purdue, Kimber Perdue and Jacob Perdue; nephews, Ronald Lovett, Shane Overbay and Brian Overbay; sisters, Patricia Bundy, Darlene Partin and Laura Heck; in-laws, Ira Overbay, Tona and Ricky Turner and Marilyn Overbay; and a host of many other family members and friends. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 2, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jackie Daniels. Music will by members of the Dunlap Baptist Church. Cremation will follow the services at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Overbay family.
