Linda Fain

Linda Fain was born on December 12, 1948 to George and Veva Cottam in Hastings, NE. She graduated from Hastings Senior High School on June 6, 1967. She married her sweetheart, Richard Fain of Hastings, NE on July 14, 167. They had three beloved children and shared 48 years, nine months and 14 days lovingly together before the time of her passing. Much of that time was spent in Nebraska until moving to Pineville, KY in the year 2000 and later settling in Harrogate, TN. Linda was a homemaker and avid member of church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing praises everywhere, whether in church, baking cookies or making crafts for a loved one. Linda was passionate about flowers, crocheting, reading and spending time with family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother and a friend to everyone she met. On Thursday, April 28, 2016, with her loving husband by her bedside, she went to meet the Lord. Linda had several health problems and although we miss her dearly, we are happy she's not suffering anymore. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Veva Cottam and brother, David Cottam. Those left to cherish her memory are loving husband, Richard Fain; two daughters, Amy Vinisko of New Milford, CT and Abigail Fain of Harrogate, TN; one son, Adam Fain of Harrogate, TN; a sister, Sue Toepfer of Blue Hill, NE; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 6:00 PM in the First Baptist Church of Harrogate.
