September 15, 1935 — February 5, 2016
Lillian D Mays of Tazewell passed away February 5, 2016. Born Sept. 15, 1935 to the late Joseph Elden & Oma Johnson Hampton. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husbands- Samuel Marcum, Ernest Taylor & Fred Mays, son- Michael Elden Marcum, brothers- George, Randall, Joseph Elden Jr. & James Harrison Hampton, sister- Lilly Gray and granddaughter- Chasity Lynn Taylor.
Survivors: daughter- Amy Diani Taylor (& Jimmy) Simpson, sisters- Margaret Hibbard & Ann Bays, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service 4 PM Wednesday Feb. 10 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel with Revs. Charles Bush & James Daniels officiating. Music by Linda & Terry Leach. The family will receive friends from 2-4. Private burial Thursday in the family cemetery.
