Lila M. O'Grady, 86 of Huron, passed away early Thursday, July 30, 2009 at Parkvue Care Center following a brief illness.

She was born November 3, 1922 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Virginia (Woodby) and Milton Cochran. Lila was a 1939 graduate of Middlesboro High School, Middlesboro, KY. A homemaker, Lila enjoyed cooking being with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a Red Cross Volunteer for several years.

Lila is survived by her children, Mary Beth (Ernest) Kurschat, Oxford, MI & Tom (Patricia) O'Grady, Naples, FL; grandchildren, Ernest Kurschat, Tempe, AZ, Michael (Dawn) Kurschat, Oakland, MI, Stephen (Donna) Kurschat, Lapeer, MI, Sean (Heather) Kurschat, Birmingham, MI, Kathy (Joel) Mianecki, Richmond, MI, Colleen (Bruce) Schutte, Sterling Hts, MI, Tracy (John) Hardin, Maples, FL, Tom (Shaun) O"Grady, Marysville, MI; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Lennia Cooley, Monroe, MI; nieces & nephews, Robert Cheek, Sandusky, Mildred Jurs, Huron, Ann Bolen, Indiana, James Cheek, Bellevue, OH, Marsha Waterfield, Sandusky, Jana Johnson, Tazwell, TN, Pamela (Leo) Sweat, Monroe, MI and many great nieces and great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Thomas L. O'Grady and sister, Jean Lester.

Friends may call 3:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the Groff Funeral Home, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Monday in the funeral home. Private burial will take place at Irish Memorial Park, Tazwell, TN.
