Lila Kiara Hope Asher

Lila Kiara Hope Asher, was born on December 4, 2006, and left this unpredictable world on June 6, 2026. She was born to her loving mother, Allison Asher, who she loved dearly. Lila grew up with a village, including her maternal grandmother, Linda Asher, who is better known to Lila as Mamma, and her maternal late grandfather, Steve Asher, who raised her. Her sister, Miranda Hamilton, who she referred to as sis, momma, and best friend and spouse, Justin Hamilton, who stepped up to be the best father figure he could be to her, she told everyone he was the best dad, who also helped raise her up to the beautiful woman she became. Her brother, Jordan Asher “Bubby” and spouse, Lani Asher; “Tojo” Greg Phillips, who loved her as own; and a wonderful GG, Angela Neice Riley. She also leaves her sisters, Aayliah Mills and fiancé, Cody Merida, and their two beautiful babies.

Lila leaves behind her village to mourn her sweet soul along with five nieces and nephews who she claimed as her siblings and whom she was also their Godmother, Lynn Hamilton, Jayce Hamilton, J.T Hamilton, Eli Hamilton, and her sassy princess MiraJay Hamilton; but most importantly her 5 month old little girl, Jaylei Kaia RaeAnn Hamilton who absolutely adored her mommy. Jaylei was her #1 everything and will forever know her mommy.

She also leaves behind a host of family members including her Uncle Jimbob Asher and wife, Serena Asher; Aunt Stephanie Brock and husband, Gene Brock; special Aunt and Uncle, Misty and Dillon Hatfield; many cousins; very special lifelong friends, Asher Fredrick and Caiden Seiver; and so many friends you couldn’t count on your fingers and toes some she considered like her own family.

She is proceeded in death by her bestest friend in the whole world who was considered family and went to heaven with her, Jadeance Hale; her grandfather, Steven Asher; grandfather, James Mitchell Hamilton; 3 nieces who she claimed as siblings, Nevaeh Rae Messer Hamilton, Jaydance Elionnah Jade Hamilton, and Ohana Raven Hamilton who she’s now having the best heavenly life with; and a host of other family members.

Lila loved spending time with her baby girl, she loved going shopping, out to eat, and getting iced coffees and bobas. She loved stealing her sister’s clothes. She loved spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was free spirited and a firecracker she loved hanging out with everyone, she was ambitious and unique. Lila had a laugh that was contagious and would do anything to help someone or protect them. Lila was strong, independent, and amazing person in general. She will always be the brightest light and most beautiful Angel. She will live on with us through her baby girl Jaylei.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Martin and Rev. Hershel Walker presiding. Burial will follow at the Ketchum Cemetery in Bryants Store. Pallbearers will be Jordan Asher, Caiden Seiver, Cody Merida, Frank Disney, Dillon Hatfield, Jayce Hamilton, Malcomb Asher, and Greg “Tojo” Phillips. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimbob Asher, Rodney Mills, Jayden Adams, and Dalton Gray.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Asher Family.
