Lewis G Brown, age 78 of Tazewell passed away March 28, 2017 at his home. Born January 26 1939 to the late Bill and Flossie Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother- Joe Paul Brown, sisters- Zelma Parks, Nida Goins & Edith Carmack, and son- John Edward Brown.

Survivors: Wife of 51 years Sylvia Brown, brothers- Gillis Brown & David (& Bev) Brown, daughters- Frances (& Scott) Hensley, Betty Sue Brown, Linda Gail (& Shane) Sandifur, grandchildren- Jacob (& Chelsey) Sandifur, Dustin Sandifur, Josh Beeler, Corey Sandifur, Emily Sandifur and a host of family and friends.

Funeral service 12PM Friday March 31 at Reece Funeral Home & Valley Chapel with Rev. Frank Short officiating. Music performed by Doug Bussell. Burial in the Dixon Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jacob Sandifur, Dustin Sandifur, Corey Sandifur, Josh Beeler, Aaron England, & Justin Yeary. Honorary pallbearers:Bill Brown and Riley Wells The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 at funeral home.
