Lewis Brock

Lewis Brock, 87, of Pineville, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Pineville Community Hospital. He was born in Stoney Fork, KY on March 16, 1926 a son of the late Delia Simpson and Willie Worth Brock. Lewis was of Holiness faith and had worked as a coal miner and logger and the father of 10 children. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Georgia Dishman Brock; three sons, James Edward Brock, David Brock and Jimmy Howard; granddaughter, Crystal Gail Murphy; brothers, Oscar, Boyd, Carter and Marlin Brock; sister, Bessie Hockinsmith. Left to mourn his passing are a brother, Arlin 'Pete' Brock, seven children and their spouses, Patricia Boley, New Tazewell, Patsy and George Phipps, Clear Creek, Betty Murphy, Ferndale, Ray Brock, Pineville, Louise and Raymond Wilder, Clear Creek, Barbara and David Hoskins, Calvin, Bobby and Lisa Brock, Hwy 92; grandchildren, Jennifer and Bill Forsythe, Leonard and Vicki Phipps, Tammy and Clifford Jones, Scotty Phipps, Melissa and James Miller, Tiffany and Eric Hutton, Stephanie Murphy, Tonya and Charlie Billing, Amy Brock, Samantha and Tory Goodin, James Eric and Angie Brock, Travis and Kelly Wilder, Danny and Abby Wilder, Kristy and Devin Fuson, Brandon and Brittany Wilder, Benjamin Wilder, David Michael Hoskins, Shawn Casey and Misti Hoskins, Bobby Austin Brock, David Ethan Brock, Roger Jones, Louanna Stewart and Bonnie Stevens; great-grandchildren, Justin Forsythe, Lyndsey Phipps, McKinsey Phipps, Elijah Hutton, Charles David Billing, Whitney Paige Billing, Aiden James Brock, Kaylie Brock, Waylon Bryson Goodin, Morgan Goodin, William Evan Wilder, Anna Clair Wilder, Keeron Fuson, Kyleigh Wilder, Cameron Mycah Hoskins, Hayleigh Hoskins, Macy Hoskins, Liam Hoskins, six great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
