Letha Rice

Letha Ann Rice, 70, of Paris, formerly of Arjay, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born in Arjay on February 22, 1938 the daughter of the late John Henry and Mattie Mae Mullins Wilford. She was raised by her grandmother, the late Susie Mullins. Letha, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, had been a member of the Liberty Worship Center and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Rice, Sr. and two grandchildren, Laura Brady and Joseph Smith. Survivors include her children, Susan and Bob Anson, Claude and Bertha Rice, Michael Rice, Sharon and Mark Dunn and Vanessa and David King; sixteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren soon to be born; cousins with whom she was raised, Delbert, Mary, Rose and Charlene and a host of other relatives and friends.
