Leta Caldwell Hoskins

Leta Mae Caldwell Hoskins, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2013 at Corbin. She was born at Beverly, KY on September 29, 1938 to John T. and Lucy Simpson Caldwell. She was the youngest of twelve children. She was a 1957 graduate of Bell County High School and had worked for Straight Creek Mining for ten years as a Security Guard and Train Coordinator. She was a Christian and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Hoskins was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lucy Caldwell, children, an infant son and Robert Hoskins; brothers, Gillis, Roland and E.L. Caldwell; sisters, Retha Alford, Susie Seller and Rose Brock. Survivors include her husband, of 55 years, Daniel Hoskins, whom she married on January 3, 1958; children, Delilah (Clyde) Johnson of Kettle Island, KY; Danny (Beulah) Hoskins of Kettle Island, KY; Carol (Greg) Ellis of Inola, OK and Tony Hoskins of Kettle Island, KY; ten grandchildren, Bishop (Sarah) Johnson, Sonya (Joel) Chick, Matthew Ellis, Tracy Ellis, Derrick Hoskins, Robby Hoskins, Josh Hoskins, Shane Hoskins, Scott Hoskins and Kenzi Hoskins; great-grandchildren, Hayden Chick, Daniel Asher Chick and Aliegha Hoskins; sister, Ruth Moore of Hamilton, OH; special friends, Ted Wilder and Ann Leath and a host of other relatives and friends.
