Lester Miracle, 69 of Pineville, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at St. Joseph Main in Lexington. He was born in Mathel on August 22, 1952, a son of the late William Bryant and Belle Johnson Miracle. Lester served his country in the United States Army and had been a machine operator for CSX Railroad. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Inez Wilder Miracle; brothers, Bryant Miracle and Boyd Miracle; and sister, Inez Taylor. Lester is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Carolyn and Dennis Mayten, Rebecca and Shane Simpson, Heather Hopkins, and Leslie and Adam Cavins; grandchildren, Chase Mayton, Sarah Mayton, Preston Simpson, Gavin Hopkins, Mason Hopkins, Nate Cavins, Nick Cavins, and Lily Cavins; brothers, Norris Miracle, John Miracle, Glenn Miracle, and Nelson Miracle; sisters, Shirley Mills, Velma Sharp, June Daniells, and Geneva Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Tingle presiding. Burial will follow at the Smith Hill Cemetery in Clear Creek with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Miracle Family.
