Leonard "Lynn" Gene Bussell, 65 years young of Tazewell, TN went to rest awaiting our Lord, on October 6, 2011 at his home with his loving wife of 44 years by his side. He loved his family and life. He enjoyed cowboy boots and hats, westerns, music, the Bible and outdoors, and to his family and friends he was "The Last True Cowboy." He was a kind and gentle man with a wonderful heart. He kept to himself, but his family who loved him knew of his great sense of humor with a warm smile. He professed his faith at the early age of 13 under a cedar tree. He was a member of Lonesome Valley Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father & mother Henry and Gertie Daniels Bussell, infants - sister Marie and brothers Kenneth James, L.C., Silas, Melvin, sister - Lois (and Clyde) Ingram; brothers: Porter, Lewis, Roger Bussell and grandson, Dacoda Bussell.

He is survived by his faithful wife- Geneva Evans Bussell, mother-in-law - Wilsie Middleton Evans, children : Anita (& Johnny) West, Jessie Wilson and Shawn Roberts, Trent Bussell and Amanda Bible, Shanna (& Jimmy) Yeary, , Nichole (& Nathan) Seal, and Chastina (& Mark) Rose, Grandchildren: Vicky (& Dee) Collins, Shad Daniels, Katie Daniels, Shaunie West, Gena West; Jacob and Landen Wilson, Jackson Roberts; Kevin, Josh, Haley and Jasmin Bussell, Aiden Mize; Lea, Caleb, and Megan Yeary; Garrett Seal; Jordan Rose, and Geneva Rose; great-grandchildren: Zoey Daniels and Piper Collins. Brothers: Arie (& Joyce) Bussell, Orville and the late Nancy Bussell, Ralph (& Faye) Bussell, Nath (& Edna) Bussell, sisters: Leona Wilbanks, Jeanette (& Pete) Cosby, Yvonne Smith, Althea Gamble. special sister-in-laws: Patty Bussell, Lorraine Bussell, Imogene Bussell, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Service 2PM Tuesday, October 11 at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Daniels and Rev. Eddie Daniels officiating. Music by Kathy Daniels and Karen Surber. Visitation 6-8 Monday. Burial in the Yeary Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Yeary, Johnny West, Mark Rose, Nathan Seal, Junior Bussell, Nick Bussell, Mark Daniels.
