Lawanda Lefevers Brock

Lawanda Lefevers Brock, 88 of Stoney Fork, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Mountain View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Pineville. She was born in Kettle Island, Kentucky on March 1, 1935, a daughter of the late Cam and Alma Herrin Lefevers. Lawanda was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church. She had worked at the Pineville Community Hospital for many years in the Housekeeping and Linen departments.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristen Caruso; sister, Gail Brock; son-in-law, Vernon Collett; and brother-in-law, Harve Couch.

Lawanda is survived by her children, Pam Collett, Michael Brock, and Jana and Robert Caruso; grandchildren, Mark and Susan Collett, Heather Collett, Amanda and Jim Kaup, Abbie Wilder, and Justin and Mary Caruso; great-grandchildren, Hunter Collett, Isaac Collett, Hanah Collett, Jared Moore, Allie Kaup, Alex Kaup, Jacob Kaup, Anna Wilder, Ella Caruso, Emmalynn Caruso, and Ava Wilder; great-great-grandchildren, Kasen Jackson and Malakhi Jackson; sister, Sue Couch; brother-in-law, Johnnie Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Sanders and Rev. Ron Howard presiding. Music will be provided by Mickey Wilder and Julie Goodin. Burial will be at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens in Middlesboro with grandsons and great-grandsons serving as pallbearers.
