Larry Dale Vaughn

Larry Dale Vaughn, 68 of Pineville, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Baptist Health in Corbin. He was born in Pineville on March 19, 1952, a son of the late Delmar Herman and Willie Jean Green Vaughn. Larry had been a coal miner for the Bell County Coal Mines for 18 years. He loved fishing, hunting and golf. Larry is survived by his wife of 17 years, Phyllis Ann Murphy Vaughn; his son, Russell Scott Murphy and wife, Angela; his granddaughter, Cadee LeAnn Murphy; his sister, Annita Vaughn; his brother, Joe Vaughn and wife, Vickie; his nieces, Kriss Vaughn and Kasey Vaughn; his nephew, Thomas Vaughn and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Wayne Goodin presiding. Burial will follow at the Vaughn-Murphy Cemetery in Ingram. Pallbearers will be Russell Murphy, Thomas Vaughn, Cecil Jackson, Bo Goodin, Michael Jackson, Lionel Jones and Todd Vaughn. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Vaughn, Terry Vaughn, and all of Larry's many, many friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville which is honored to serve the Vaughn family.
