Larry Taylor

Larry Taylor, 62, of Barbourville passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at his home. He was born in Pineville on February 17, 1959, a son of the late Herman and Willie Jean Ridley Taylor. Larry had worked as a coal miner for over 20 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Isaac “Bo” Carnes. Larry is survived by his wife, Barbara Carnes; children, Brandon Taylor and wife, Jessica, Ashley Taylor, Angiela Carnes, and Alisha Sharp; grandchildren, Evan Taylor, Kaleb Taylor, Brody Taylor, Aiden Taylor, Elijah Brown, Cody Carnes and wife, Brittany, Austin Caldwell, Blake West, Teayana Hurst, and Zoey Sharp; great-grandchildren, Payton Carnes, Landon Caldwell, Macey Caldwell, Blakely Caldwell, Noah West, and Emalyn West; brothers and sisters, Joyce Taylor DeMint, Jerry Taylor and wife, Carol, Linda Taylor, David Taylor and wife, Lisa, and Donna Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 5:00 PM Monday. August 9, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Bishop Custer Watts and Rev. James Polly presiding. Private burial services will follow the service. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 PM until the funeral hour at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to serve the Taylor Family.
