Lamon Preston Grubb

Lamon Preston 'L.P.' Grubb, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at UK Medical Center. He was born on May 18, 1942 in Clay County, KY, son of the late Warden and Nancy Ann Hubbard Grubb. LP had been a drywall hanger and finisher and did carpentry worker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maudetta Medlock Grubb, his grandparents, infant brother, brother-in-law and a niece. Survivors include his children, Tina Janell; Angela Michelle and Shony; Timothy Lee; Jeffery Daniel and Kathy, six grandchildren, Preston, Ashley, Dillan, Jordan, Jeffery and Brittany, brother and sisters, Forster and Barbara Grubb, Irene Sharp, Wilma and James Brooks, a host of nieces , nephews and other family members and friends. Services will be at 7:00 PM Monday, at Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. Luther Collett. Burial will be 2 PM Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Wallsend Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Grubb family.
