Lamarr Grubbs

Lamarr Grubbs, Sr., 71, of Pineville, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at St. Mary's Health Care, Knoxville. He was born in Pineville on March 22, 1942 a son of the late Jesse Willard and Audrey Christine Napier Grubbs. Lamarr served in the U.S. Army for 8 years and had worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carrie Michelle Grubbs; brothers and sisters, Larry Grubbs, Ernest Grubbs, Pat Buell, Louise Grubbs, Judy Faye Hobbs and Charlotte Grubbs. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Judy Senters Grubbs; children and their spouses, Mitzy and Gerald Baker, Lamarr and Kim Grubbs and Matthew Partin; grandchildren, Lucas Lamarr Grubbs, Jacob Ryan Grubbs and Riley Elizabeth Baker; brothers and sisters, Curtis Grubbs, Jesse Grubbs, Jr. and Betty Bowman and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
