Krystal Dawn Brooks Chesney

Krystal Dawn Brooks Chesney, 40, of London, formerly of Pineville, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2015 at St. Joseph - London. She was born in Pineville on July 24, 1974, a daughter of James and Wilma Grubb Brooks. A 1992 graduate of Bell County High School, she became a Registered Nurse and worked in several different hospitals. Survivors include her husband of 18 years, Ray B. Chesney; children, Gabriel Chesney, Kacee Chesney and Alora Chesney; parents, James and Wilma Brooks; brother and sister-in-law, James Eric and Liza Brooks; niece and nephew, Dalton Reynolds and Harley Brooks; Parents-in-law, Ray and Betty Chesney and James and Betty Hyden; sister-in-law, Vachel and David Ping and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 25, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. Terrell Gibson. Music will be by her daughter, Alora Chesney. Burial will be in Wallsend Cemetery, Pineville, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Chesney family.
