Kimball 'Chase' Sanborn

Kimball “Chase” Sanborn, 65 of Gray, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on June 21, 1956, a son of the late Charles and Lorraine Shephard Sanborn. Chase served his country in the United States Air Force and had been the Director of Food Service. Chase is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dorothy McClaskey Sanborn; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Kimball and Tamara Sanborn, II; daughter and son-in-law, Brandy Nichol and C.D. Sanders; grandchildren, Morgan Paige Hammons and her husband, Jaron, Trevor Alynn Sanborn and wife, Whitney, Lauren Alissa Sanders, and Nicholas Ryan Sanders; great-grandchildren, Spencer Jace Sanborn and Eleanor Rae Hammons; sister, Sharon Stickell and husband, Bunky; brother, Kevin Sanborn and wife, Leslie; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at his home on Sunday, January 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
