Kenneth Lawson, 77, of Beverly, KY passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the East Kentucky Veteran's Center, Hazard, KY. He was born in Beverly, KY on July 14, 1941, a son of the late Lawrence and Sinda Taylor Lawson. He was a Christian and had worked in Maintenance for the Red Bird Mission. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Kenneth was an avid fisherman and squirrel hunter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Carolyn Lewis Lawson, brothers and sisters, Hazel Myers, Fern Kubicz, Novella Borgen, Sam Lawson, Ledford Lawson, Charles Lawson, Clayborn Lawson and Lloyd Lawson. Survivors include his children and their spouses, Dewayne and Tammy Lawson, Elaine and John Noble; grandchildren, Mackenzie Lawson, Korrey Morgan and Andrew Howard; brother, Lester Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at the Beverly United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Stidham. Music will be by Kathy Brock. Burial will be in Mud Lick Cemetery, Beverly. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Lawson Family.
