Kenneth Jackson, 92, of Laurel Hill, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Pineville on March 19, 1926, a son of the late Andrew and Shirley Simpson Jackson. He had retired from the State Highway Department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mae Green Jackson, a son, Larry Jackson; brothers and sisters, Hugh, Henry, Clara, Leon, Buddy Nannie and Ethel. Survivors include his children, Arnold Jackson, Wallace Jackson, Colleen Couch, Brown Lee Jackson and wife, Sandra, Teresa Miracle and Lois Jones and husband, Larry; grandchildren, Arnie Jackson, Shonna Asher, Jerry Girdner, Byron Jackson, Melissa Shepherd, Kristie Epley, Sarah Osborne, Jim Miracle, Whitney Jackson, Katie Jackson, Allen Jones and Jennifer Jones; great-grandchildren, Kayla Allen, Gracie White, Ayla Osborne, Kaleah Jackson, Lynsey Shepherd, Madison Shepherd, Dakota Brown, Dawson Brown, Christopher Shipman, James Shipman Tanner Epley and Hailey Epley; sister, Delia Wilson; brothers, Frank Jackson and Larkin Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Ricky Dorton. Burial will be in the Johnny Jackson Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 until 7:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Jackson Family.
