Kelly Napier

Kelly Napier, 78, of Arjay, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was born in Arjay on September 16, 1938, a son of the late Noah and Malvia Asher Napier. He was a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church and had been self-employed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Loraine Knuckles. Survivors include his wife of almost 50 years, Wanda Green Napier; children, Kelly Napier, Jr., Reed Allen Napier, Angela Napier-Hall and Michael Wayne Napier; a host of grandchildren; sister, Glenda Sue Henderson and a several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 12 Noon Friday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Irving Gipson and Rev. Caleb Gipson. Burial will follow in the Napier Cemetery at Arjay with family and friends serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 until 9:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Napier Family.
