Kathleen Brock Emery

Kathleen Brock Emery, 70, of Dorton Branch, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at the UK Heath Care in Lexington. She was born in Arjay on May 3, 1952, a daughter of the late George and Goldie Cox Brock. She was a member of the First Christian Church and had been a homemaker. Kathleen was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Emery; brothers, Elvin Brock, Mitchell Brock, and Luther Brock; sisters, Pauline Asher, Faye Blair, and Ethel King.

Kathleen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Darrell Emery; children, Darrelene Crawley and husband, John, Jerry Emery, and William Emery and wife, Martha; grandchildren, Derek Emery, Jarrod Crawley and wife, Brooke, Emily Bingham and husband, Kody, Darrin Emery, Austin Emery, and Amber “Megan” Emery; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Phipps, Kolten Bingham, Scotty Hobbs, Iris Robbins, Carter Crawley, Kirra Bingham, Amelia Crawley, and Journee Hobbs; sister, Bonnie Brock; brothers, Orville Brock, Charles Brock, George Brock, and Floyd Brock; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Combs presiding. Music will be provided by Ginny Fraley. Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at the Hickory Flat Cemetery in Dorton Branch.
