Karen Sue Weddle

Karen Sue Weddle, 64, passed away on January 25, 2025, at her home in Hulen, Kentucky. She was born on March 2, 1961, to the late Charles Britt and Helen Jump Hall.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul William Weddle of Hulen, and her grandparents Verla and Henry Jump of Illinois. She is also preceded in death by great grandson Porter Kade Futrell of Beulaville, North Carolina, siblings, Frank Jump of Tennessee, Tabitha Wheeler of North Carolina, and Betty Jump Bowman of Illinois.

She is survived by her children, Jennifer Weddle Thompson of Hulen, Kentucky, and Jeffery Paul Weddle of Corbin, Kentucky. Seven granddaughters Billie Jo Nieto Hidalgo of Havelock, North Carolina and Chelsea Grace Weddle of Beaufort, North Carolina, Alexandria Sue Weddle of Corbin, Kentucky, Gracie Jean Futrell of Beulaville, North Carolina, Abbigail Elizabeth Hill of Hulen, Kentucky, Felicity Anne Thompson of Hulen, Kentucky, and Madison Lynn Thompson of Hulen, Kentucky. Great-Grandchildren Lucas Hayes Futrell of Beulaville, North Carolina and Hudson Kade Bray of Hulen, Kentucky. Siblings, Steve Jump of Michigan, Deb (Broudis) Wolfenbarger of Chinquapin, North Carolina, Patricia Hall of Kentucky, Charles “Bubby” Hall of North Carolina, Wendell Jump of Tennessee, Ronnie Jump of Illinois, and Brenda Sumner of Michigan, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, at the Blackmont Baptist Church, with Rev. David Howard officiating. A gathering of friends will be held on Friday, from 12:00 PM until the funeral hour, at the Blackmont Baptist Church.
