Karen Lou Goins

Karen Lou Philpot Goins, 72, of Jenson, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at her home. She was born in Jenson on April 27, 1944 a daughter of the late Louie and Marjorie Hendrickson Philpot. Karen was a member of the Jenson Pentecostal Church and had been a homemaker. She was an outstanding and wonderful mother to her children and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred A. Goins. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Terry Beyersdorff; sons, Timothy Goins and Johnny Goins; grandchildren, Timothy Ryan Goins, Terry Beyersdorff, Jr., Justin Beyersdorff, Nicholas Goins, Dokota Goins, Katie Goins, Tesia Goins Freeman, Codie Goins, Kaylin Goins and Jaylin Goins, brother and his wife, Robert E. and Iris Claudia Philpot and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Roark and Rev. Van Johnson. Music will be by Vivian Gambrel and Virgil Lawson. Following Karen's wishes after the services she will be cremated at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dr. Martha Combs Woolum. The family will receive friends on Tuesday after 6:00 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, which is honored to serve the Goins Family. Gathering of Friends
