Karen Faye Gambrel

Karen Faye Cox Gambrel, 45, passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Elk Grove, Illinois, on March 11, 1970, a daughter of Paul Cox and the late Lola Patterson Cox. She had been a homemaker. In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Cox Lawson. Survivors include her daughter, Lola Brummett of Bradfordtown and son, Ricky Cox of London; father, Paul Cox of Arjay; sister, Joann Gross; brothers, Michael Cox and David Cox and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Private cremation services for Karen will be held at the Arnett & Steele Cremation Center in Pineville. Karen's family plans to host a gathering in her memory at the Arjay Baptist Church from 5 until 7 PM on Saturday.
