Justine 'Tina' Hubbard,52, of Kettle Island, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville on September 3, 1960, a daughter of the late Delbert and Myrtle Elliott. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Delbert Elliott, Jr. and an infant sister, Bonnie Elliott; two brothers, Freddy Elliott and Donnie Elliott and a brother-in-law, Mark Hubbard. Tina believed in the Holiness Faith and went to Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church for 34 years. Tina was saved in 1978 on a Sunday. She received her first Prophesy by Karen Warren Bailey. She received the gift of the Holy Ghost and also prophesied for the first time on Sunday, March 9, 1980. She was a faithful prophet at Straight Creek Pentecost Holiness Church. She enjoyed going to church and spending time with her family. She was the perfect wife, mother and mimi, to her husband, children and grandchildren. Tina will be rejoicing in heaven as those who loved her will hold her memories close. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Baxter Dewayne Hubbard, two daughters that she cherished, Heather Hubbard Merida (Todd) of Bimble and Susan Hubbard Brock (Tim) of Calvin; three precious grandchildren that she adored, Jordan Merida, Kamryn Isabella Brock and Noah Dewayne Brock. Also surviving are two brothers, Tim (Elaine) Elliott, Pineville and Tony (Shirley) Elliott , Frankfort; two sisters, Debbie (Terry ) Brock, London and Barbara Elliott, Pineville; mother-in-law, Carolyn Hubbard; three sisters-in-law, Sherry Philpot, Shelia Asher and Theresa Hensley along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and church family to cherish each memory.
