Justin Stuart Long

Justin Stuart Long was born on December 5th 1980 in Pineville KY and departed this life on July 20th 2024. Justin was a member of Arthur’s Chaple Holiness Church Poor Valley, called to preach God's word. Justin graduated from Thomas Walker High School and worked various jobs. He applied for and was accepted into a 5-year Electrical apprenticeship with the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers L.U. 369 in Louisville Ky. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, he worked several years as a journeyman wireman on many different job sites. Justin later left the IBEW to work for Carlton Scales in Knoxville Tenn. In 2017 he felt the need to answer the call from the lord to devote more time to his ministry and left Carlton Scales and began his own construction company, JSL Construction. Justin was known to be a skilled carpenter as well as an overall fix it man as well as excellent electrician. Justin was a good husband, father, son and brother and good friend to those who knew him.  He loved his children dearly.

Justin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Robert M. Williams and uncle Randy Williams,

Justin is survived by his wife of 23 years, Natasha Collett Long. Daughters Kaitlyn, Makayla, Ava and Addilee Long. Father and Mother, Rodney and Rebecca Jo Long. Brother, Ryan Cody Long and Amy Carmony. Father-in-Law and Mother-in-Law Shelby and Tonya Collett. Paternal grandparents Robert and Norma Long. Maternal grandmother, Alberta Williams. Several uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Visitation will be at Arnett-Steele Valley Chapel in Harrogate Tenn. on Friday July 26th, 2024 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Arthur’s Chapel Holiness Church (Poor Valley)with Rev. Richard Long, Bro. Josh Pendleton, Bro. Ronnie Hoskins and Bro. Dalton Payne. Graveside services will follow in the Arthur’s Chapel Church Cemetery in Rose Hill, Virginia.
