Juanita Collett Oslonian, born on May 22, 1945 to the late Lawrence and Margie Elliott Collett, departed this life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Select Specialty Hospital, Powell, TN after a long illness. In 1964, she began her journey as an Oslonian by marrying John Boyd Oslonian, there-in gaining the late Johnny and Marie Oslonian as bonus parents, who each mutually loved the other, along with another sister, Mary Linda. A life-long believer in the Baptist Faith. She served many years and in multiple capacities at Mill Creek Baptist Church. She loved serving the Lord and people. Juanita was always ready and eager to help and serve others before self. Juanita's greatest joy has been her family. In honoring her and the legacy of love she left behind, her memory will always be held in safe keeping in the hears and acts of her well-loved family. Throughout years of illness and battles against her own body, Juanita remained hopeful and full of humor and joy. In her most painful hours, she sought to comfort others with humor and good memories. She has indeed been a model of the Proverbs 31 Woman. In addition to her parents, Lawrence and Margie and her husband, John, she is preceded in death by four siblings, three brothers, Jack Collett, Vernon Collett and Bill Collett and a sister, Jewell D. Nelson. Surviving this great loss include, three daughters, Jackie (Mike) Hisel, Nicholasville, KY, Missy (Robert) King, Kettle Island, KY, Melinda (Richard) Cunningham; two step-sons, Lloyd (Kristy) Oslonian and Randy (Debbie) Oslonian; her grandchildren, aka her greatest joy on earth, Katelyn King, Jacob (Alexis) King, Candace Oslonian, Corey (Emily) Oslonian, Peyton Hisel, John (Jorden) Hisel, Cassidi Cunningham and Faith King; her dearly loved great-grandchildren, Chenoh Oslonian, Annaleeyah Oslonian, Avaree Hisel and Levon Harper; one brother Ray (Sharon) Collett; sister-in-law, Sharon Collett and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors, far too numerous to mention. Burial will follow in the Pineville Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons and sons-in-law.
