Joyce Faye Wilson

Joyce Faye Wilson, 70 of Pineville, Kentucky passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at the Hazard ARH Hospital. She was born in Pineville on December 20, 1947. And was the daughter of the late Edward and Gladys Philpot Mason. Joyce was a homemaker and believed in the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Richard E. Wilson and his wife, Elizabeth, brothers, Oliver Mason, Darryl Mason, and Charles Mason, and sister, Sue Goodin. Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Lonnie Wilson; daughter, Rita Collins and husband, Wayne; son, Lonnie Wilson, Jr. and wife, Renee; grandchildren, Teddy Collins, Christy Smith and husband Jason, Shaun Collins and wife, Stacey, Latosha Hobbs and husband, Quinn, Matthew Wilson and wife, Ashley, Richard Wilson and wife, Shaunta and Heather Elliott and husband, Keith; great-grandchildren, Cameron Collins, Autumn Collins, Hayley Smith, Blake Collins, Landen Collins, Chloe Collins, Gunner Collins, Caleb Hobbs, Natalie Hobbs, Hunter Wilson, Caden Wilson, Jace Wilson, Adian Wilder, Gaige Wilder, Payton Elliott and Kylee Elliott; brothers, Phillip Mason and wife Joan and Kenneth Mason and wife, Stephanie; a special cousin, Patrisha Frazier; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 2 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Jackson. Music will be by Jeff Merida and Tony Smith. Burial will follow in the Wilson Family Cemetery at East Jellico. Teddy Collins, Shaun Collins, Richard Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Cameron Collins and Jason Smith will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 9 PM at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Pineville, which is honored to be serving the Wilson family.
